They offer different colors and prints that you can mix and match to make your own FOR GOOD PRICES! One major downside is that all purchases are not refundable, and rather the price you paid is given back to you in store credit, meaning that money can only be used at Forever 21. Many people may complain that the quality of their merchandise isn’t up to par. Looking at it from a different perspective, if you were to buy something from Forever 21 and it for example tore due to its poor quality, buying another piece of clothing from Forever would be approximately equal to buying something from another store that has “good” quality. Vanilla cakes? Here’s a recipe for a  heavenly, buttery white cake that comes together in minutes but tastes like you spent all day preparing it!~

Ingredients

• 1 cup white sugar
• 1/2 cup butter 
• 2 eggs                                                                        
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 3/4 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/2 cup milk

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9×9 inch pan or line a muffin pan with paper liners.
2. In a medium bowl, cream together the sugar and butter.
3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
4. Combine flour and baking powder, add to the creamed mixture and mix well.
5. Finally, stir in the milk until batter is smooth. Pour or sp oon batter into the prepared pan.
6. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven. For cupcakes, bake 20 to 25 minutes. Your cake is done when it springs back to the touch.

It is funny and gives an intriguing twist on classic nursery rhymes. It contains language that may offend some people, so for mature readers only.

2. Sphinx’s Princess by Esther Friesner – 5 stars

Nefertiti, a girl growing up in ancient Egypt, is summoned to the Pharoah’s palace to marry the Pharoah’s son, Thutmose. Upon meeting him, though, she finds him incredibly boring and thick-headed, and prefers instead to run around with his younger brother, Amenophis. She tries to get out of the marriage. This book shows an interesting point of view into the society of ancient Egypt.

3. A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray- 4.5 stars

Gemma Doyle witnessed her mother’s death through a vision as a child, leading her to move from her home in India to a boarding school in England. While there, Gemma is pulled into a fast-paced mystery involving a fantasy world and the woman who wants to control it. The mystery extends to her life outside of the realms, thoroughly confusing Gemma and thickening the plot. It’s a very well written book that morphs historical fiction and fantasy. The other books in the series are Rebel Angels and The Sweet Far Thing.

4. The Island of the Aunts by Eva Ibbotson- 5 stars

When Minette and Fabio are kidnapped by hired ‘aunts’ and brought to the Island, they discover a reality alternate to their own. In this world, there are mermaids and selkies and other creatures only thought of in fantasy. When the Kraken brings his son to live in the island out of trust, Minette and Fabio are his official caretakers. This is a story for fantasy lovers, as it includes a lot about the special creatures the children live with.

5. The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan – 5 stars

Carter and Sadie Kane, a brother and sister who have lived apart from each other their entire lives, meet each other and are introduced to the concept that the Egyptian gods are real and live all over the world. At one point in their journey to save the world from the evil god Set, the god and goddess Horus and Isis use Sadie and Carter’s brains as hosts. They must work together to put evil to an end. We gave this book five stars because it is action-packed and funny, as Rick Riordan’s books often are.

6. Princess of the Midnight Ball by Jessica Day George- 4 stars

Rose and her eleven sisters have been cursed since their mother died to dance their nights away with the evil King Under Stone. They cannot tell what they do every night, but Galen, the new gardener, is determined to find out. When all of the sisters fall ill, they are forced to continue dancing anyway. Galen risks his life to get to the bottom of the mystery and save the princesses. This book is a twist on a classic fairy tale. As I read, I mentally compared the story to the tale I knew. Jessica Day George is a brilliant writer as she mixes the facts in the story with her dark plot.

We like the blushes from MAC. We like the blushes because it makes your cheeks pinker and flushed looking. Some people say that the blushes don’t have a lot of color and are very sheer. We disagree with this because we think the colors really show up on your cheeks. Some of the names of the blushes are Frankly Scarlet, which is a bright rose red color, Pinktone, which is a sheer pink color, and Well Dressed, which is a clean fresh looking pink tone.  Some of their nude colors are Raizen, Copperly, and Sweet as Cocoa. Mac also has cream blushes. Some people think that these are easier to use than powder blushes because they blend better and they are easier to put on. For most powder blushes, you have to use a brush, but for cream blushes, you can use your fingers. This may also help save time in the morning when you get ready.

We also like the eyeshadows. They have many colors and they are all really pretty to use. They also have a wide variety of colors. MAC carries over 160 shades! They have light, dark, bright, smooth, glitter, and sparkly. Also, the names are very creative and fun. Some examples of colors are Expensive Pink, which is a really pretty pink with brown and orange reflects in it, Electric Eel, which is a vivid sky blue with shimmer, and Beautiful Iris, which is a light lavender shade.

The paint pots that they have go on very smoothly and are very pigmented. They are long wearing, which means that they will last all day, and they don’t crack, so they always look nice. Others have said that they save time because they don’t need to add other colors and that they last a long time because when they use it, they don’t need to use a lot. They also don’t crease, which means wrinkle.
